Moved to Tuesday 6th September: 4 pm to 6pm
We have unfortunately had to reschedule our Information Evening, previously due on 30 August. This will now happen on Tuesday 6th September 2022, starting at 4 pm.
We are so looking forward to starting the new academic year with a large event for all parents, after such a long period of restrictions. This is a wonderful opportunity for you all (whether a returning parent, or new to Acorn) to meet the teachers, the wider team, and socialise with other parents.
The event will be structured to give you a lot of information on the nursery, our routines, and approach to education. This includes:
- the structure of your child's day
- the EYFS curriculum, and what this means in practice for your child's learning
- Tapestry, and how we use this as a home/school communications tool
- the daily routines at the nursery.
We will also be showcasing our new, much improved 'Learning Hub'. Many of you will be aware that the original shed was damaged in the recent heavy downpours. We have seized this as an opportunity to completely re-build it, providing a greatly improved learning space for your children.
We ask that you do not bring your children to this event, if possible. It is a rare opportunity for you to have uninterrupted time with the staff and other parents.
